How can I protect my lights from fading?

The sun produces powerful UV rays that in turn, fade headlight lenses and make them "foggy". All pre assembled units contain a UV resistant coating that will last a couple years depending on the sun exposure and intensity in your area. HOWEVER, coatings also fade overtime and need to be reapplied, I highly recommend Meguiars Headlight Coating  

Warranty

All our products carry a 30 day warranty guaranteeing the product from any MAJOR or structural defects. This does not cover any damages occurred due to user error and/or installation. 

Prebuilt headlights carry a 1 year warranty for water seal* and 1 year for the LED unit unless a custom unit is spec'd, there is no warranty for custom spec'd LED units.

Note:  Return shipping is not covered by this warranty.

*condensation or moisture that evaporates are not covered by this warranty

All products sold by Concept 12 are covered by a 7 day satisfaction  guarantee. If you don’t like what you receive send it back for  full  refund within 7 days!

What is FDM printing?

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printing is a type of 3D printing technology that works by melting a plastic filament and then laying it down in thin layers to build up a three-dimensional object.

Imagine you have a hot glue gun that can move in three dimensions. Instead of using a glue stick, it uses a long, thin plastic thread called a filament. The filament is heated up until it becomes liquid, and then the glue gun moves around, depositing the melted plastic in specific locations to build up a shape. The glue gun does this layer by layer, until the entire object is complete.

FDM printing works in a similar way, using a printer that has a nozzle that melts and extrudes plastic filament to build up a 3D object, layer by layer. The process is controlled by a computer program that tells the printer where to lay down each layer of melted plastic, based on a 3D model of the object being printed.

LED Headlight Add-Ons Guide (Honda Element)

If you're upgrading your Honda Element with 7" LED headlights, you may notice several optional add-ons available. Below is a guide to help you understand what each one does and whether you need it.

1. Negative Polarity Harness – Required

The Honda Element uses a negative-switched headlight system, which is not directly compatible with LED headlight assemblies.

What it does: Ensures your LED high and low beams work properly.

Do you need it? Yes—this is required for LED headlights to function correctly on the Element.

2. Plug & Play Turn Signal / Parking Light Harness – Recommended

This harness allows the halo/daytime running light (DRL) and turn signal functions of your LED headlights to work without cutting into your factory wiring.

What it does: Powers the halo/DRL via your parking lights and activates the turn signal input from the factory circuit.

Do you need it? Recommended if you want a clean, reversible install with working DRL and turn signals.

3. LED Hyperflash Relay – Optional but often needed

Upgrading to LED bulbs for your turn signals can cause hyperflashing, which is when your signals blink rapidly.

What it does: Replaces your factory relay to restore normal blinking speed with LED bulbs.

Do you need it? Recommended, if you are switching to LED turn signal bulbs.

4. 7443 Switchback LED Turn Signal Bulbs – Optional, pairs with clear lenses

These LED bulbs are white when driving (for DRL) and switch to amber when signaling a turn.

What it does: Combines a clean white running light with bright amber signals, enhancing both safety and style.

Do you need it? Optional, if you want modern switchback function or Required if you are using clear signal lenses. Pair with the hyperflash relay.

5. Clear Turn Signal Lens Set – Optional Visual Upgrade

Replaces the stock amber front turn signal lenses with a clear version for a cleaner, modern look.

What it does: Changes the appearance of your turn signals to better match LED and switchback setups.

Do you need it? Optional—great for aesthetics. Must be used with LED bulbs, as incandescent bulbs get too hot.

What components and bulbs should I use for your lighting?

The aftermarket for 7" assemblies and LED bulbs are vast, due to this I have made pre made units with my recommended and tested components. Unless it is recommended on the product page, all aftermarket components are the customers responsibility to select themselves. 

Both/One of my lights are not aligned

You will need to aim both lights initially, a good guide video can be found here: DIY Video 

Both/One of my lights are not working/intermittent/dim

All lights are tested before dispatch, please try the following:

• Check the grounds of the reverse polarity harness, I recommend grounding on the battery and the engine mount (seen here) for each respective side. 

• Switch all harnesses from driver to passenger side and see if the problem follows.
